How do you produce high-quality prints?
We produce high-quality prints starting with high-quality images. We digitally enhance these images to guarantee high resolution and clarity. All our images are artworks currently in the public domain or collaborations with new artists. Our meticulous process ensures exceptional detail and vibrant colors, utilizing professional-grade printers, top-tier inks, and premium paper and canvas options to deliver prints that faithfully reproduce the original artworks.
What is the giclée printing process?
The giclée printing process is a high-resolution digital printing method using archival quality inks and inkjet printers. This technique produces superior color accuracy and incredible detail, making it ideal for fine art reproductions. The term "giclée" is derived from the French word meaning "to spray," reflecting the printer's method of applying ink to the paper or canvas.
What printers and inks do you use?
We use Canon professional wide-format imagePROGRAF printers with 12 Lucia inks. These printers and inks are renowned for their precision and color fidelity. We love the use of technology in achieving the high quality of our prints, ensuring that each print captures the essence of the original artwork.
What types of papers and canvas do you use, and what are the differences between them?
We use only Hahnemühle fine art papers, renowned for their quality and durability. The papers and canvas chosen from this brand are 100% cotton, which helps with the longevity of the print. Currently, we offer three types of substrates: smooth (Photo Rag 308 gsm), textured (William Turner 310 gsm), and for canvas, Daguerre canvas (400 gsm). Our Photo Rag 308 gsm paper offers a smooth, matte finish that highlights fine details and color depth. The William Turner 310 gsm paper has a textured surface that adds a tactile dimension to the print, ideal for works that benefit from a more tactile presentation. The Daguerre canvas 400 gsm provides a traditional canvas texture, suitable for a classic art print look. These substrates are all 100% cotton, enhancing the durability and longevity of the prints.

We respect the original painting in every print we produce, including the original brushstrokes and imperfections. No digital alterations are made other than enhancing the vibrancy of colors when necessary. We use archival-quality materials, including high-quality inks and 100% cotton papers and canvas, to ensure the longevity of our prints. This approach ensures that each print remains true to the artist's vision and maintains the integrity of the original work.
Why do you include a white border in your prints?
We include a white border in our prints to protect the edges of the artwork and facilitate framing and matting. This border is carefully designed using the golden ratio, a mathematical proportion found in nature and art that is often associated with beauty and balance. The golden ratio, approximately 1.618:1, has been used by artists and architects for centuries to create visually harmonious compositions. By applying this principle, we ensure that the border not only enhances the artwork's aesthetic appeal but also maintains its visual integrity.
To create a visually balanced presentation, the bottom border is slightly wider/higher than the other sides. This design choice adds a subtle grounding effect, enhancing the overall display. The border width varies according to the print size, sometimes exceeding traditional measurements to preserve the artwork's balance and impact.
Note: The dimensions listed for each print refer to the overall paper size, including the white border. The actual size of the artwork on the paper will be slightly smaller, allowing for the inclusion of the border. We clearly disclose both the paper size and the approximate size of the artwork under each print, ensuring you have all the information needed when selecting frames or mats.
Why don't you offer custom sizes outside of the aspect ratio of the original painting?
We respect the aspect ratio of the original painting and offer sizes that fit within this ratio. This practice prevents distortion and ensures that the artwork's composition is preserved. Therefore, we do not offer custom sizes outside of the original aspect ratio, as this could compromise the integrity of the image.
Are your prints suitable for both residential and commercial spaces?
Absolutely. Our prints are designed to enhance both residential and commercial spaces. We offer print sizes ranging from 4x5 inches to 24 inches wide. Bigger sizes will be available in the near future, so stay connected! We adhere to the original aspect ratio of the painting and offer sizes that fit within this ratio to preserve the artwork's composition. What's the best way to choose the right size for my space?

Do you offer borderless prints?
We do not offer borderless prints. All of our prints include carefully calculated borders based on the golden ratio.
